The main characters, being former classmates who graduated 16 years before, are all 34-35 old. Most of the actors are younger than their characters, some by a lot: Nancy Brilli (24), Giusi Cataldo (27), Isa Gallinelli (31), Massimo Ghini (almost 34), Luisa Maneri (28), Luigi Petrucci (32), Silvio Vannucci (32) and Carmela Vincenti (32).
Only three are the right age: Maurizio Ferrini, Eleonora Giorgi and Giovanni Vettorazzo, all 35 at shooting time; Carlo Verdone (37), Alessandro Benvenuti (38), Fabio Traversa (almost 36) and Christian De Sica (37), while older than 35, are not too old to play characters that were held back a few years.
Angelo Bernabucci (44), Athina Cenci (42) and Piero Natoli (almost 45) are the oldest, all much older than the characters they play.
