The first Haunted Cop Shop movie was guilty of being desperately unfunny, and this follow-up proves those responsible to be repeat offenders: if anything, Part 2 is even worse than the original. They should lock up the cast and crew and throw away the key.
The plot (if you can call it that) sees a special unit of police ghost-busters formed to deal with the all the ghosts/vampires that have been plaguing the city. While at a training camp, the recruits have to deal with several bloodsuckers and some zombies, but still find time to act like total imbeciles.
I did wonder whether some of the humour was 'lost in translation', but then again, I couldn't see how the gang acting like farm animals to induce a hen to lay eggs could ever be funny. Other 'hilarious' scenes include wacky cop Man-Chill (Ricky Hui) keeping a female vampire from biting him by jiggling her tits, and a police chief repeatedly coming a cropper when jinxed policewoman Bad Luck (Sandy Lam) is in his office. Oh, how I didn't laugh!
2/10.
