"Zamknac za soba drzwi" (To close the door behind you) is an independent feature film based on the popular at that time TV series "07 zglos sie". It also involves Lieutenant Borewicz (Bronislaw Cieslak) as a main character. But to me, " To close the door behind you" is weaker, though still watchable. The original series was distinguished by the credibility of its plots and realism in showing Poland of the 1980s, so it was popular not only in Poland but also, for example, in East Germany. The plot of this film is somewhat artificial and not credible, and, for example, one of the positive characters is a retired American police officer, Lieutenant Kopinski (Piotr Fronczewski). But the action in " To close the door behind you" is fast-paced, the acting is good, and Lieutenant Borewicz has his charm.
