Storyline
Did you know
- TriviaThe film was shot in May 1989, on a small, weathered cruise ship that sailed for a week from New Orleans to Cancun, Mexico. It was going to the Miss Universe Pageant, and was filled with 50 past and present beauty queens from all over the United States.
- GoofsNot only is the same shot of the cruise ship used each time to portray the ship at sea, but the shot is of the ship at anchorage. The anchor chain can be seen going into the water and the ship is not moving.
- Quotes
Schecky Moskowitz: Sir, hi! What's your name?
Dave: Dave.
Schecky Moskowitz: Hey, Dave! What do you do for a living?
Dave: Well, I'm a construction worker.
Schecky Moskowitz: A construction worker? Alright, what do you construct?
Dave: I construct buildings. What the fuck else would I construct?
Schecky Moskowitz: Okaaaay... so, Dave, do you think constructing is an easy job, or is it a hard job?
Dave: Listen, butthole, why don't you quit trying to be funny? Because all it's doing is pissing me off.
- ConnectionsEdited into Comic Relief Zero (2013)
This is a story of gibberish that was so boring that you could not keep up with what was happening on the screen. The situation was utterly ridiculous and the lines were so unfunny I actually felt sad for the actors. Perhaps it was my VCR that made the picture of the film look sloppy but it seemed like it was filmed as a high school project rather than by professional adults.
I was glad when I saw the review of others that I was not alone in panning this film. And with all that said, I still feel cheated out of 10 cents.
