During the Ooty schedule Satish Shah had a visitor at his hotel room upon opening the door he saw that he was none other then Raj Kumar Barjatya.Satish Shah was surprised to see him as in his struggling days he would die to meet him at his office.Raj Kumar Barjaytya was accompanied by his son Suraj Barjatya who told Satish Shah that he is shooting at near by location for his debut directional film Maine Pyar Kiya (1989) and wants to seek his blessings for the same.
The heroine of the film was Amala in 1987 . She left the film for unknown reasons. Then Poonam & Mandakini were signed as the heroines of this film. This film had music by Nadeem-Shravan (before aashique) and Lata Mangeshkar sang for them . She sang again for them in Bewafai in 2005.
Poonam Dhillon and Mandakini acted in two films together.Maalamaal 1988 and Hisaab Khoon Ka 1989.
Comedians like Satish Shah,Tiku Talsania and well known character actor Saeed Jaffrey had negative roles while Amrish Puri,Bindu,Om Shivpuri and Gulshan Grover did positive roles.
The only film where Raj Babbar did disco on stage.
