Although Maurice is frequently described as a Mercury astronaut and talks about training with the Mercury astronauts, when a video tape of his launch is played, it shows a Gemini launch. Maurice has also stated that he wasn't one of the original seven, which would have precluded him being a Mercury astronaut.
In most radio stations, the "On The Air" sign only lights when there is a live mike but, at KBHR, it remains lit whether Chris is using the microphone or not.
At KBHR, the needles on both of the illuminated VU meters (on the control board) do not move when Chris is talking or at any other time there is modulation. That would never be the case in a real radio station.

Although a lot of episodes play in the Alaska winter, and people outside are packed in many layers of clothes, there is hardly ever any condensed breath when they talk.
