Sydney Sweeney came clean with fans about the rumored affair with her co-star Glen Powell in Anyone But You. Both stars admitted that they leaned into the rumors as part of a promotional strategy for the romantic comedy, with Sweeney, who is also a producer on the film saying that they gave enough for the audience to build the narrative on their own.
The strategy seemed to work as Anyone But You was a critical and commercial success, earning $220 million. However, it begged the question whether the on-screen couple would have admitted to the strategy had the film not been a success. It seemed to be a dangerous position for Sweeney herself as she was engaged to Jonathan Davino.

When it comes to being dubbed the ‘Sexiest Man Alive’, it’s not just about muscles, a charming smile, or a handsome face; it’s about timing, choices, and, quite often, saying ‘no’ when the world is telling you to say ‘yes’. And that’s exactly what happened to Glen Powell and Pedro Pascal, who, for reasons of their own, reportedly turned down the coveted title before John Krasinski, 45, finally accepted it.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time actors have turned down the Sexiest Man Alive title. Ryan Gosling, often hailed for his quiet confidence and timeless good looks, has reportedly turned down the honor not once, but twice.

In this week's installment of "What people choose to watch on streamers will never make sense," the aughts comedy "Norbit" is somehow one of the most-watched movies on Amazon's Prime Video. This exceedingly random news comes courtesy of viewership data site FlixPatrol, which as of publication time has the widely panned Eddie Murphy vehicle hovering at number five on its list of the 10 most-watched Prime Video movies in North America. Sure, why not?
To be fair to "Norbit," subscribers seem to be having an odd week in general, with Adam Sandler's "The Longest Yard" also making the list and two Christmas films, "Almost Christmas" and "The Holiday," already entering Prime Video's upper echelons. Still, it's remarkable to see that more people are reportedly watching "Norbit" than are watching newer Prime Video originals, like the Peter Dinklage and Josh Brolin-led action comedy "Brothers" (currently number seven on the streaming...

In the beauty of Sydney Sweeney, many forget the sheer amount of talent that the actress possesses. While works like Anyone But You and Madame Web did get the actress a lot of publicity, it would seem that she is going to force the world to see her talent. Recently, the actress has been spotted working on a project that could be good enough to earn her an Oscar nod.

It seems like 2024 is the year for NCIS fans, with several new series spinoffs to add to the roster.
NCIS loyalists may feel lost without original spinoffs NCIS: LA, which aired for 14 seasons, and NCIS: New Orleans, which was canceled in 2021 after seven seasons.
But we’re thrilled to see long-time agent Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) share the screen with his Hawaiian co-stars in the canceled spinoff NCIS: Hawai’i. And even better news is the new series spinoffs, NCIS: Syndey — renewed for Season 2 — and NCIS: Origins.
(Courtesy of CBS)
We’ll also enjoy the continuation of the love story between Dinozzo and David in NCIS: Tony and Ziva later in 2024-2025.
Here’s everything we know about the upcoming prequel, NCIS: Origins.
What is NCIS: Origins?
NCIS: Origins is a series that takes place in the 90s and follows Leroy Jethro Gibbs as he starts out as a rookie NCIS agent at Camp Pendelton.

CBS is rolling out a new NCIS spin-off this fall.
NCIS: Origins will follow a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs and tell new stories about the character made famous by Mark Harmon.
NCIS: Origins is set in 1991, years before the events shown on NCIS.
On the new show, a different actor plays Gibbs, which may frustrate some die-hard NCIS fans who feel there is only one Gibbs.
Some fans also believed the job should have gone to Mark Harmon’s son, Sean Harmon. The younger Harmon guest-starred on NCIS as a young Gibbs in flashback episodes.
A younger Mike Franks (played by Kyle Schmid) is also ready to help the show thrive.
Will NCIS fans tune in to watch more stories about Gibbs and Franks? We will soon find out!
Who plays Young Gibbs on the NCIS: Origins cast?
Actor Austin Stowell has been tasked with playing the younger version of Leroy Jethro Gibbs.

Farmer Wants A Wife celeb Mitchell Kolinsky is known for being the hunky farmer who chose Sydney Errera at the end of Season 2 of the reality dating show. However, he has a surprising connection to country star Dean Dillon. So, what is it?
Farmer Wants A Wife: Mitchell Kolinsky Found Love With Sydney Errera In Season 2
For viewers who watched Farmer Wants A Wife Season 2 on Fox, they saw farmer Mitchell Kolinsky narrow down potential matches until he had to pick between the final two ladies on his farm. Even though the show did its best to build drama, there was no question in anyone’s mind that Mitch would choose Sydney Errera in the end.
Right out of the gate, Sydney stepped onto Mitchell Kolinsky’s farm as the most capable farmhand. This is something that Mitchell and the other farmers desperately needed, someone who was a good fit for the farming lifestyle.

Pop Star Academy: Katseye is now streaming on Netflix, and in this docuseries, we find out just how the six supremely talented young women came to make up the global girl group. It wasn't an easy process, but these young women worked hard and proved themselves to be ready for stardom.
The years-long process started with auditions being held. After looking all over the world and over 120,000 applicants, Hybe and Geffen Records were able to narrow down their contestants list to just 20 young women. These women trained rigorously for the chance to secure a spot in Hybe and Geffen Records' first-ever global girl group. But with there only being six spots, Hybe and Geffen had to find a way to narrow the list down even more.

It’s been two and a half years since Euphoria season 2 wrapped up, but after frequent delays, it was finally announced that the acclaimed HBO series would be starting production on the third season in January 2025. Euphoria season 3 will feature a time jump, moving the characters out of high school, and Sydney Sweeney is excited about the possibilities.
“We did have a long time between season one and season two, but especially now with the time jump, it’s a new process for me,” Sweeney told Cosmopolitan. “I’m kind of just learning as I go and being open for whatever’s to come. But I’m also really excited. I love Cassie. She is always such a thrilling character to play, so I’m really looking forward to what’s gonna happen in her life.“

Google has yanked an ad from NBC’s Olympics broadcasts meant to highlight the power of its Gemini AI tool — but which critics blasted as bizarrely tone-deaf.
In the 60-second ad, “Dear Sydney,” a father wants to help his daughter write a letter to her idol, Olympic track star Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone. In a voiceover, the dad says his daughter “might even be the world’s No. 1 Sydney fan.” Then, in a jarring turn of events, he asks Google’s Gemini AI to “help my daughter write a letter telling Sydney how inspiring she is and be sure to mention that my daughter plans on breaking her world record one day.”
Criticism of the Google ad was nearly immediate after it began airing across NBCU networks starting last week, with commenters focused on the absurdity of using AI to produce a heartfelt missive to a personal hero. “Obviously there are special...

Google has pulled a commercial for its Gemini AI system from coverage of the 2024 Paris Olympics after the spot sparked backlash online.
“While the ad tested well before airing, given the feedback, we have decided to phase the ad out of our Olympics rotation,” a Google spokesperson tells The Hollywood Reporter.
The ad (below), titled “Dear Sydney,” featured a dad talking about his daughter, a huge fan of Olympic track and field athlete Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone. He uses Google’s Gemini AI chatbot to help her write a letter to Sydney to share her appreciation for her.
“I’m pretty good with words, but this has to be just right,” he says before prompting Gemini to help her write the letter.

NCIS, even 20+ seasons in, continues to be a hit, and the franchise just keeps growing. The NCIS franchise started over three decades ago, finding great success as the original and with several spinoffs.
When the writer's strikes happened in 2023, fans were left without an NCIS fix for the first time in over twenty years.
Meanwhile, a new spinoff, NCIS: Sydney, was happening in another part of the world for the first out-of-country NCIS spinoff in history.
The upcoming NCIS spinoff featuring Tony Dinozzo and Ziva David may also take place out of the US.
Originally, there were no plans for NCIS: Syndey to air on US television. But when the strikes shut down television production, CBS picked it up for the fall lineup.
Fans rejoiced at the news of an order for a second season of NCIS: Sydney, while we mourned the cancellation announcement for sister show NCIS: Hawai'i.
