“The Princess Diaries 3” is progressing as Adele Lim, the filmmaker behind the comedy “Joy Ride,” has been tapped to direct the sequel.

“As a diehard fan of the original ‘Princess Diaries,’ I’m beyond excited to be a part of bringing the third iteration of this beloved franchise to life. We look forward to celebrating its core tenants of female power, joy and mentorship with audiences worldwide,” Lim said in a Friday statement.

Debra Martin Chase is producing the Disney film, while executive producers include Lim’s producing partner Naia Cucukov and Melissa Stack.

Anne Hathaway, who starred in the first two “Princess Diaries” movies, is not yet formally attached but has expressed interest in returning to the franchise.

The first film was released in 2001, based on the YA book of the same name, and followed a shy American teen who discovers she’s the heir to a European kingdom.

The film is produced by Debra Martin Chase, who originated the film franchise starring Anne Hathaway as Mia Thermopolis, the down-to-earth teen-turned-queen of the fictional kingdom of Genovia, and Julie Andrews as her regal grandmother. Hathaway will also produce under her Somewhere Pictures banner. Naia Cucukov will executive produce the film alongside Melissa Stack.

Hathaway shared her excitement and confirmed her return by posting Variety’s announcement with a video reciting the iconic “Princess Diaries” quote, “Shut up!”

Shout! Studios, in collaboration with A Kiss and Tale Productions, Convoke Media, and Pixium Film Group has announced the upcoming release of Succubus, a “gruesome thriller” that’s headed to VOD outlets for purchase and/or rental beginning September 24, 2024.

It has been a while since Starfield was released back in September 2023, but to this day, players are still loading up their saves and exploring every inch of the galaxy that they can. Due to this, one player has stumbled onto possibly one of the most depressing missions within the game and wanted to share their sadness with the rest of the world.

While aimed at kids, Dcau was no stranger to crossing boundaries by incorporating s-xual innuendos and double entendres into their shows in order to keep the adults hooked. In most comic iterations, Hawkman is often the match for Hawkgirl, but to fans’ surprise, in Justice League Unlimited, we witness a romantic arc between her and John Stewart.

Love it or hate it, a Justice League movie finally exists. Personally, I found it to be a highly entertaining and enjoyable action flick – but it wasn’t quite the epic my favorite characters deserved.
