Thelma heard Jessie's instructions on what to do after she kills herself and then asked Jessie to do the manicure, but she says that she can't, that she has to go now... It's not even 8 p.m. but she says that she wants Loretta and Dawson to be awake and dressed so they can come right after the call. Thelma is hysterical and tries desperately to keep Jessie from going to her room, but she got to it and locks the door. Thelma is crying,screaming at her and banging at the door, trying to stop it and telling her that what if she doesn't do what she previously instructed her to do and then she hears the shot. She kept on crying but got to the phone and calls Dawson, just like Jessie told her.
