One of a mini-cycle of mid-late 1980s "Beverly Hills" titled Hollywood movies that were made after the box-office success of Beverly Hills Cop (1984). The films include Beverly Hills Cop II (1987), Troop Beverly Hills (1989), Beverly Hills Vamp (1989), Beverly Hills Brats (1989), Beverly Hills Madam (1986), Down and Out in Beverly Hills (1986) and Scenes from the Class Struggle in Beverly Hills (1989). Soon, there would also be in the 1990s the movies Beverly Hills Cop III (1994) and The Taking of Beverly Hills (1991).
This was Louis Jourdan's final television acting role before his death on February 14, 2015 at the age of 93.
