Devil Fetus 2: The Rape After

I'm no sissy. I've watched Mario Bava's BEYOND THE DOOR II in a completely dark house. I've endured the most excruciating scenes of CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST without flinching in repeat viewings. THE EXORCIST is downright wussy at this point. But this eighties Hong Kong horror potboiler--a weird blend of HK mayhem and ERASERHEAD--is literally the most disturbing damn movie I've ever laid eyes on. And not because of splatter or anything creep-inducing in a FACES OF DEATH vein. The movie just goes straight to the soft part of the brain marked, "Nightmares you had while three years old." I had to turn the VCR off after twenty minutes, and I still have nightmares about this movie. Anyone who makes it through this picture genuinely gets a toast from me for sheer courage.
