Filmed over four days. Brinke Stevens said that when David DeCoteau asked her to work on the film for four days, she had no idea he meant the entire movie would be shot in that time. They worked almost 12 hours a day to get it done. David DeCoteau said the only way they were able to get it made in that timeframe is because Stevens, Linnea Quigley, and Michelle Bauer were the most professional actresses he ever worked with. Quigley said she and the other two actresses had all their lines down and got most scenes in one take.
A large section of the documentary Screaming in High Heels: The Rise & Fall of the Scream Queen Era (2011) is dedicated to this film, featuring clips and interviewing the lead actors Linnea Quigley, Brinke Stevens, Michelle Bauer, Richard Gabai and director David DeCoteau.
This movie was shot on 35 mm film stock that was left over from a previous picture.
Michelle Bauer used the last name McClellan in this film because she had just divorced her husband (last name Bauer) and he threatened her with legal recourse if she used the name Bauer in this film.
