Featured review
If you know the actual play of Plaza Suite you may find this rendition lacking. This show is funny and worth seeing if you like Carol Burnett and know her work. The show follows the original play and has Burnett's signature faces, inflections and mannerisms. While this may not be her best work it is certainly worth reviewing and enjoying. On the down side there are some points when the show slows in delivery but overall it isn't bad. Of the three acts in the play the last one seemed to drag the most The supporting cast was well selected. Each of the male co-stars fit their roles well and perform well alongside Burnett. We've owned the video since it first aired in 1987 and have watched it regularly over the years. This speaks to the inert quality of Neil Simon's work and the timeless humor and delivery of Burnett.
