Akshay Kumar was about to take a 7 am flight to Bangalore for a shoot but he mistook the flight of being 7 pm and lost the film following which he was roaming in Natraj studio where director Pramod Chakravorthy saw him and offered this film and the time was 7 pm.
Divya Bharti auditioned for the film but was rejected.
Karishma Kapoor and Pramod Chakraborthy had a major falling out after the film was completed. Pramod accused her of being unprofessional. Karishma Kapoor denied the allegation and said Pramod was favoring Akshay thru out the film. She went on to call Akshay Kumar Pramod's "Chamcha" in print.
