      This movie was filmed around Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, beginning on January 13, 1992. Marie is checking into a motel with Joe Gennaro. Marie asks him, "We have a deal? We'll be staying till sundown -- 7:17 p.m." Since this is winter-time, sunset would be more like 5:30 p.m.

    A solid vampire/horror movie.

    "Innocent Blood" is not a by-the-book vampire movie. The vampires in this movie don't play by the usual vampire rules. I don't want to nit-pick but there are rules when it comes to vampires. One example would be that they don't cast reflections in mirrors. Director John Landis doesn't seem to care about those rules. When I watch this movie, neither do I. "Innocent Blood" is a funny, exciting bloody movie with the added bonus of tons of nudity. The story of vampires and mobsters is a good one. I am a fan of most John Landis' movies. He has a distinct style. I would put him in the Hall of Fame. "Innocent Blood" is a solid entry in his resume. I need to watch this one more often. Honorable mention: a dreamy Anne Parillaud.
