Producers asked Brian May (of Queen) to record the music for the show. He recorded several short tracks thematically linked to the title character. The tracks collectively were called "Hard Business". For Series 2, May recorded a single track titled "On My Way Up" for the title credits. "Hard Business" would later be rerecorded as a single track, now titled "Business" for May's solo album "Another World", on which "On My Way Up" also appears.
