David Bryan's nickname is "Red". In real-life, Sinbad's real first name is David and his nickname is "Red".

August 21, 1993 TV Guide declared chaos reigns at Sinbad's show. Debut was pushed back three weeks to Sept. 16 after Fox network rejected the pilot. The swinging bachelor Sinbad character was "too cynical" and Fox wanted more heart. Disney hired script doctor Michael Jacobs to warm things up.
