The National Debt Clock was located on 6th Avenue, a block from Times Square in New York City, since February 20, 1989. Since the film was made, the clock was discontinued (2000-2002, and briefly in 2008), moved to three other locations, and changed it's technology and shape.
The film documents the first National Debt Clock installed on February 20, 1989, on Sixth Avenue between 42nd and 43rd Streets, one block away from Times Square, NYC. It was subsequently moved to another location, but it is still running on July 10, 2017, when Cinemateca Portuguesa shown the film for the second time, now in the cycle "History of the Portuguese Cinema".
Kristen Johnston's debut.
