Claudia Cardinale played a different character than she had in the original The Pink Panther (1963), in which she played Princess Dahla. In this film she plays Maria Gambrelli, a character in the franchise's second film, A Shot in the Dark (1964), played by Elke Sommer.
Henry Mancini: Uncredited, as himself playing a conductor handing a baton to the Pink Panther in the opening credits.
