According to the copyright at the beginning of the short, this takes place in 1947. There's a scene where Roger is in the water & sees a shark fin and the theme to Jaws is playing in the background. However, Jaws wasn't released until 1975.
The pin on Baby Herman's diaper disappears and reappears between various shots.
