It was Harry Gregson-Williams' first feature-length film as a composer, who would later on became well-known for scoring the Shrek franchise and his frequent collaborations with Ben Affleck, and the Scott brothers (Tony & Ridley).
Barry Norman's daughter, Samantha Norman, plays the Chat Show Host towards the beginning of the film.
