Look up Broadway in the Merriam-Webster dictionary and you will get the standard description of the hub of theatrical entertainment in midtown Manhattan. Begging to differ, the real definition should be just two words Patti LuPone. This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone familiar with the musical theatre icon. The few who might not be in agreement should take just one listen to Ms. LuPone's most recent release, Don't Monkey with Broadway. Joined on this two-disc set by her music director and accompanist, Joseph Thalken, we are gifted with storied and show-stopping renditions of Broadway classics and lesser known hits. This is Ms. LuPone's third album with Broadway Records, following previous releases Far Away Places 2013 and Matters of the Heart 2015. On this new iteration, she does not disappoint. In fact, she vigorously delivers and Broadway Records proves that quality and quantity are both thankfully exceeded when it comes to this leading lady.

It’s about midway through the new romantic-comedy Results that you realize the filmmakers have no clue what they’re trying to accomplish. Writer-director Andrew Bujalski loves his script so much that he doesn’t realize it’s unfilmable. There are three main characters, two separate stories, and zero reasons to care about what’s happening. With so many talented people doing perfectly good work on the screen, it’s baffling how this movie could be such a complete mess.
Trevor (Guy Pearce) is a fitness guru who practices what he preaches. He’s the picture of discipline; taking action only after he’s visualized a precise path to success. This dedication helped him build a great gym, but it’s also made him into a loner. Matters of the heart, after all, don’t care about quality control standards.

This week’s installment of Saturday Night Live with host Bill Hader had the potential to go one of two ways.
On the optimistic side of the equation, what better choice of emcee than a beloved, eight-season vet of the show, a guy who certainly wouldn’t have any issues with the on-the-fly workings of Studio 8H?
Nevertheless, with SNL presenting its third fresh installment in a three-week period, the question loomed, would the show’s inconsistent writing staff have enough time to create memorable setups and zingers?

If you’re hoping to see some of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities on NBC’s fall comedy Marry Me (premiering Oct. 14), stars Casey Wilson and Ken Marino have some bad news.
“I’m going to say a couple of names,” Marino says, tongue planted firmly in cheek.“George Clooney… Meryl Streep…” — He points to Wilson when she suggests Kim Kardashian — “…will not be on the show.”
Still, despite a lack of Academy Award winners (and one polarizing reality TV star), Marry Me still packs quite the comedic punch. Starring Happy Endings’ Wilson and Childrens Hospital’s Marino as odd couple Annie and Jake,...

Also, is Emily losing her mind?
Everyone took deception to the next level on the Jan. 19 episode of Revenge: Emily (Emily VanCamp) and Daniel (Joshua Bowman) went all War of the Roses on us, Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) revealed a dark secret to Patrick (Justin Hartley), and more shocking truths were uncovered!
This Means War
Let’s face it: Emily and Daniel’s marriage has tanked. Even before the shooting and the fake pregnancy revelation, Daniel wanted out. He’s apparently in love with Sarah (Annabelle Stephenson) and was fully prepared to use her as bait in his battle against Emily.
One of the first things to brighten Emily’s morning — you know, after ripping her stitches open — was the sight of Daniel and Sarah in bed together. He was a total tool to Emily in front of Sarah, but the look on Emily’s face said he was toast.

Plus, is another fan-favorite character about to die? Like, actually die? Get our thoughts on the midseason finale, then share yours.
Just when you thought Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) dead parent problems couldn’t become any more complicated, the Dec. 12 episode of The Vampire Diaries revealed that her dad was the scientist who designed the very experiments currently being conducted on her. Of course, the torture she experienced on the operating table wasn’t nearly as bad as the emotional torture she would face at the end of the midseason finale.
Damon & Elena Break Up… Again
Tired of having to apologize to Elena for the unstoppable parade of skeletons from his closet, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) decided to let her go — again. She didn’t want to break up, but he insisted, leaving her alone to weep by the fireplace.
Dear friends, can we all agree how stupid that was? I...

New Delhi, Nov 26: Singer-composer Sandeep Chowta is happy that his latest album "Matters Of The Heart", a compilation of mostly jazz numbers, has received a good response in times when Bollywood and international pop tops the charts.
Chowta, known for creating memorable tunes for films like "Mast", "Bollywood Hollywood", "Rakht", "Om Shanti Om" and "Housefull", has collaborated with international musicians like Dave Grusin, Tom Schuman, Chuck Loeb and more for the new album.
"I am very glad that the album is being very well received. In the days of Bollywood and international pop ruling the charts, it is very difficult.
