This is a Taiwanese-made movie that is set in India, as the plot concentrates on a murderous cult targeting a young couple, who witnessed a Hindu priest being shot by a crossbow. Before succumbing to his wounds, he hands the couple a sacred statue to be taken back to India.
From what I remember, the plot is obscure in the movie and what you see is just a bunch of mostly non-main stream actors attempting to dodge the homicidal cult members. There is one gun battle after the other as the character run around in circles in this huge fortress full of idols.
This movie is really nothing to write home about - a weak storyline with an unnecessary large body-count and overly-aggressive characters (both good and bad). Sibelle Hu, known for her Madam Wu character in the Five Lucky Star and Inspector Wears Skirts series, plays one of the main antagonists in the movie, which I thought was out of place for her.
This movie has plenty of gun-totting action, but with limited suspense and intrigue.
