This is one of the best document I have ever seen about astronomy and history of sciences.
The director has spent a lot of time (8 years I think), gathering the images around the world at the research of the roots of stars sightseeing.
The music of this serie has been written by Georges Delerue, and have some similarities to the music of "Le Dernier Metro" and is one of the best soundtrack Georges has ever written.
Among others, Michel Serres and Pierre Lena, give extraordinary clear explanations with simple mathematical demonstrations of the laws ruling our Universe.
A must to see (but not easy to find) !
