To the disappointment of fans, this film has never been released in the United States.
Despite The Gods Must Be Crazy (1980) creator Jamie Uys being credited as a consultant, original narrator Paddy O'Byrne being brought on board for the English dub, and N!xau the Bushman starring, Boet Troskie, producer of the first two movies, labelled this film and its subsequent sequels "ungodly fakes", because they were not produced under Troskie's Mimosa Films production company.
