While Destroy Lonely’s second studio album, Love Lasts Forever, has been touted as a boundary-defining artistic statement, it succumbs to all of the familiar pitfalls of contemporary hip-hop: a bloated tracklist, thoughtless sequencing, poor mixing, and lazy songwriting. “I’ve been flexin’ for 22 years and I ain’t stoppin’ now,” the Atanta rapper predictably boasts on the not-so-subtly titled “About Money.”
A skilled Mc should be able to imbue even the most mumbled inanities with some energy or wit. Unfortunately, even when Lonely’s backed by a mammoth-sounding beat, as on the towering “Luv 4 Ya,” it does little to elevate the mood. Plot: When Riley (Sarah Durn), a YouTube paranormal investigator, disappears, her older sister, Mia (Camille Sullivan), frantically searches for her.
Review: Of all the films premiering at this year’s edition of the Fantasia Film Festival, very few have piqued the interest of genre fans everywhere, like Shelby Oaks. The feature directorial debut of YouTube film critic Chris Stuckmann (who also wrote and co-produced the film), it was recently snapped up for theatrical release by Neon, who are riding high as a genre distributor following the success of Longlegs. Many of his fans are curious whether Stuckmann’s on-camera criticism translates into solid directorial chops.
So what’s the result? Sad to say, the hope that Shelby Oaks would be the next great horror debut was overblown. This is meant as no sleight against Stuckmann who, I must admit, I know next to nothing about. I’ve only seen a handful of his reviews,...

Megan Fox Look Breathtaking In A Racy Corset Top With Matching Bottoms ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
Megan Fox always leaves us speechless with her avant-garde fashion, and the actress has almost never looked bad in anything. She debuted her sleeve tattoo at the Grammy Awards 2024, and now she has captivated us with spiky attire at a party in Las Vegas. She attended the bash with her partner Machine Gun Kelly, also known as Colson Baker.
Fox has millions of followers on her Instagram handle, which is a treat for admirers. Last year, around this time, Fox and Mgk’s relationship hit a snag as there were reports about the singer cheating on the actress. The couple even went to couples therapy before calling it quits permanently, and it worked out pretty well for them. She deleted her Insta posts and took off her engagement ring, and the entire drama kept the social media busy for days.

If looks could kill... Consider this our official petition for outtakes of the shoot for the new key art for The Defenders, because we are buying whatever these heroes are selling and we need more. Netflix's newest Marvel outing, which puts Luke Cage, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist all together for some serious crime fighting (or elevator riding), doesn't debut until August, but it's not hard to tell that this is going to be a good time, especially if this key art is what it always looks like when you get Mike Colter, Krysten Ritter, Charlie Cox, and Finn Jones in the same room. It's like they're staring into our soul, and we will happily let them continue to do that...

Filming is well underway in Hell’s Kitchen as Marvel and Netflix make progress on the much-anticipated Daredevil season 2, and today Just Jared has unearthed a series of photos from the NYC set that showcase Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle – aka The Punisher – looking a little worse for wear.
While they’re not quite as action-packed as those snaps that hit the interwebs last week, today’s stills offer up a nice peak behind the curtain on the show’s sophomore season. Fresh off of holding up some goons, Bernthal’s formidable character appears to be tracking a pair of crooks who have seemingly stolen a dog, and judging by those bloody knuckles and ice-cold stare, we can’t imagine they got very far. If looks could kill.

Will Arnett kicked off his Lip Sync Battle with Alison Brie by – as host LL Cool J noted – "trying to answer that immortal question, 'Who Let the Dogs Out?'" Decked out in a purple track suit, the actor tackled Baha Men's canine-themed, Grammy-winning 2000 single, the only Top 40 hit to feature the lyric "flea-infested mongrel."
Arnett obscures his face with the microphone during the performance, possibly because he doesn't know all the lyrics. But his charisma wins out in the end. "You gotta be an incredible dancer," he tells...

Jess makes plans to 'jump into bed' with her old flame Josh Ritchie, following Naomi's decision to leave him and partner up with Max Morley, on tonight's show (July 1).
Speaking to newly single Josh, Jess says: "I think if we cracked on everyone would be like, 'Oh my God,' and I think that would be brilliant."
Josh replies: "So basically you're going to jump in my bed tonight and we're gonna see what happens?"
"I'll get in your bed babe," Jess adds.

Is Geralt of Rivia's return a true, next gen RPG, or does if fail in its lofty ambitions? We review The Witcher 3...
Beginning life on the PC, where it made the jump from books to games, The Witcher series has become synonymous with adult content and stories that are dictated by the player. In this series your actions actually impact the world and the characters within it, but this isn't handled in an overly simple good or bad, red or blue manner. Here your choices are much more organic, blended into the game and its world, and Geralt isn't a clear-cut hero. He's a Witcher, a mutated human, trained to be an elite hunter of monsters. He'll lend his skills to anyone, as long as they can pay.
As the series has grown and evolved, it's changed in many ways.

Bourne and Mission: Impossible, right back to Harry Palmer and Danger Diabolik - meet the many pretenders to James Bond's throne...
Since 1962, the James Bond franchise has come to define the spy genre, for good or ill. More broadly, every thriller and action film that comes out now either uses them as inspiration, or attempts to ignore or re-work the tropes that have come to be associated with the series.
Coming off the release of Kingsman: The Secret Service, and with the release of a new Bond film this year, now seems like the perfect time to take a look at a sample of the films which have been inspired by James Bond — either as homages, parodies or reactions.
The Ipcress File (1965)

If we are to talk about the ever-growing Hallyu wave—the rapidly spreading popularity of South Korean culture—we can never leave out “My Sassy Girl.” While many South Korean films have been screened in different parts of the world years before “My Sassy Girl” was produced, no one can deny that it is one the first Korean films to get undisputable global recognition. It got nominations and awards from various national and international award-giving bodies for three years in a row, its theme song was translated to different languages, and it spurred American and Japanese remakes.
Not only did it bring South Korea into the limelight, but it also catapulted its main stars, namely Tae Hyun Cha and Ji Hyun Jeon, to worldwide fame. And this year, a sequel to the much beloved movie is coming!

If looks could kill! Cate Blanchett channeled Lady Tremaine when she decided to glare at reporters during the Berlin Film Festival Friday afternoon. Ok, so the wide-eyed gaze wasn't her most convincing look—but who cares?! It's not often that the 45-year-old Oscar winner gets to be so wickedly campy with one of her characters. Ahead of the film's first premiere in Germany, the Givenchy-clad actress attended a Cinderella press junket with director Kenneth Branagh; co-stars Helena Bonham Carter, Lily James, Richard Madden and Stellan Skärsgard; costume designer Sandy Powell; and producers David Barron and Alli Shearmur. If looks could kill . . . Amy Pascal would be in serious trouble. The Sony Pictures Entertainment cochair was snapped greeting Angelina Jolie at The Hollywood Reporter's Women in Entertainment Power 100 breakfast in La on Wednesday, just a few hours after hacked emails of Amy discussing Angelina with producer Scott Rudin were released online. The emails featured a long conversation between Amy and Scott about the forthcoming Steve Jobs biopic, and at one point, Amy told Scott that Angelina was not happy that they picked up David Fincher to direct it, as she had her eye set on him to direct her own passion project, a new Cleopatra film. Scott said, "She'll survive it. I don't want to waste my time on this." However, Angelina apparently persisted in trying to nab David for the Cleopatra flick, which angered Scott, who feared that she might delay production of the already-troubled Jobs film. Scott wrote,...

If looks could kill, Kylie would be on death row. In Gerard Johnstone's deadpan, diabolical, and haunted thriller Housebound, Kylie (Morgana O'Reilly) is an angry, insolent young woman, full of piss and vinegar, so when she's convicted of a crime and sentenced to eight months of detention in the home of her mother, Miriam (Rima Te Wiata), it feels like life imprisonment to her. Kylie resists any impulse to act in a civil manner toward Miriam or her stepfather Graeme (Ross Harper), and is hostile in her court-ordered sessions with psychiatrist Dennis (Cameron Rhodes). Kylie's attitude hardens when she learns that Miriam has long felt that the family home is haunted, an idea that the young woman dismisses out of hand. Miriam, after all, chatters...

Plus, another Storybrooke resident loses their life! (I don’t remember this much death in the original ‘Peter Pan.’)
Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and the gang finally returned to Storybrooke on the Dec. 8 episode of Once Upon A Time, but their homecoming celebration was quickly cut short when “Henry” (Jared Gilmore) unleashed Pan’s shadow on the unsuspecting townsfolk, claiming the life of a beloved character.
In addition to ripping the Blue Fairy’s shadow from her body, Pan (Robbie Kay) also got his hands on the ultimate weapon: Regina’s (Lana Parrilla) original curse, which brought everyone to Storybrooke in the first place! Apparently, if it’s cast again, it’ll force everyone to lose their memories — though I suspect there’s even more to it than that.
Let’s be real: Pan is obviously not going to win this fight, which we’d know even if we didn’t...

If looks could kill... Christina Ricci looks downright deadly in the poster for her new Lifetime movie Lizzie Borden Took An Ax, which premieres Jan. 25 and tells the story of a school teacher accused of killing her family in 1892. You know, just your average fun family fare! In the first look at the film, Ricci is dressed in a white nightgown while holding a bloody ax, with the poster reading, "It's time to bury the hatchet." (Subtlety, thy name is not Lifetime!) God, I love The Monster Squad. So much, in fact, that the old VHS copy bought for me from a ramshackle jumble sale many years ago still has its place in my film collection, the cover worn and tattered, visible signs of the many house moves the damn thing has survived. Odd this obsession may be, but this almost forgotten "dud" from 1994 still has a plethora of fan sites loaded with petitions screaming for a sequel, with its director Fred Dekker at the helm. It's not total madness when you really think about it: that childlike, wide-eyed admiration for the truly old school cinematic macabre, the passion behind the article that you now see before you... Dekker's film is dripping with it. Who better to put together a love letter to old school horror than a storyteller who cut his fangs on the classics? After concocting the idea for the Steve Miner's 1986 film House,...

If looks could kill, then James Franco (on the poster for the upcoming action-thriller "Homefront") wants you dead.
