A tribute to Agnès Varda's husband of 33 years, Jacques Demy. The scenes of Demy's childhood were shot in the actual house that he grew up in.
Writer/Director Agnès Varda supervised a 2K digital restoration of the film in 2013, made by the laboratory Digimage from a 4K digital scan of the original 35mm negative.
