The parade/protest scene in this movie was filmed in historic San Juan Bautista, CA., where the bell tower scene in Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo was shot. Community theatre actors from nearby Gilroy and Morgan Hill were hired as extras.
Voice actor Stephen C. Johnson, a narrator for GEICO, Scentsy and a wide variety of other promotional videos and radio commercials, and his son, play farmers riding in a wagon in the parade.
