One of two early 1990s low-budget crime-themed independent theatrical feature films shot in Melbourne in Victoria, Australia. The two movies are [in order] - Nirvana Street Murder (1990) and Holidays on the River Yarra (1991). About at least eight crew personnel worked on both pictures including producer Fiona Cochrane who was the head producer on both projects.
Penultimate appearance in a theatrical feature film of much loved Australian actress Sheila Florance. Her final would be in Paul Cox's A Woman's Tale (1991) for which she would in 1991 win the Australian Film Institute (AFI) Award for Best Actress in a Lead Role.
