Documentary about director Otto Preminger and his films. It doesn't go over all his films only the hits like "Laura", "The Man With the Golden Arm", "Anatomy of a Murder", "Advise and Consent" and "The Cardinal". There's plenty of clips from the movies but they go on far too long. Also plenty of talking heads of actors, producers and such who worked with him. Most of them praise him to the high heavens except for Tom Tryon who went through hell working for him. Narrated in a ponderous fashion by Burgess Meredith. I found this dull, dull, DULL. Also the documentary conveniently ignores his big-budget bombs like "Skidoo" and "The Human Factor". Dull and disappointing.
