This series was a mid-season replacement in 1992. Seven episodes were made, but only 2 episodes were shown as scheduled, the 3rd episode was pre-empted in most of the US.
Buddy Morris, dressed as a bellboy and played by Buddy Douglas, is a reference to the classic "Call for Philip Morris!" ad campaign.
Ian Buchanan, Miguel Ferrer, David L. Lander and Bellina Logan also appeared on creators Mark Frost and David Lynch's previous show, Twin Peaks (1990).
