I am saddened that this iconic film has very limited screening and despite the advances in technology is still missing a digital and wider release. It is good that the UPFI Film Center still runs it from time to time. But I do hope it can explore the streaming platform too or at the very least, publishing a digitally remastered version in a physical format or as a downloadable content. There is a recent spike of interest regarding the lives of our national heroes. And surely reviewing earlier films about the Supremo made more accessible today can help reconnect and touch newer generations of viewers and fans. Let us all continue relive and honor the lives and sacrifices of our mga Bayani!
