Sharon Farrell wrote in her book "Hollywood Princess from Sioux City, Iowa" that she was fired from this film after they discovered how "truly dangerous I could be on a motorcycle, especially when I had to wear an eye-patch and carry a whip. It was the eye-patch which really did me in. I started getting dizzy wearing the damn thing, and just thinking about leading my gang of chopper chicks, roaring up and down the road on our motorcycles made me queasy."
The original call for this movie was "Chrome Hearts", all signs used to mark set locations and all verbal references by cast, crew and extras reflected this.
Whenever the zombies are shown you can hear a sample of music from "Danse macabre" by French Composer, Camille Saint-Saëns. This orchestral piece is written about the dead walking the earth on Halloween night.
