The lawsuit was filed at London’s High Court on February 12, marking another legal challenge for the 65-year-old actor just over 18 months after he was acquitted of all charges in a high-profile criminal trial.

Details of the Lawsuit

The civil suit involves actor Ruari Cannon, who is suing Spacey along with two organizations connected to London’s Old Vic Theatre, where Spacey served as artistic director between 2003 and 2015.

Legal firm Fieldfisher, representing Cannon, confirmed the lawsuit but did not provide specific details of the allegations.

The lawsuit is separate from previous cases, as it does not involve any of the accusers from Spacey’s 2023 criminal trial.

When "Den of Thieves" arrived in 2018, many described it as a kind of low-rent, dirtbag version of Michael Mann's "Heat." I, too, have said more or less the same thing about the film — but I say so lovingly. I'm a big fan of "Den of Thieves," a movie about big men firing big guns and featuring Gerard Butler as Big Nick O'Brien, a cop who always seems to be hungover no matter what time of day it is. I was excited when a sequel was announced all the way back in 2018, and now that the sequel, "Den of Thieves 2: Pantera," is here, I'm just as excited for what comes next.

"Den of Thieves" inexplicably ruled. While no one could accuse the flick of being original, the end result was wildly entertaining and enjoyable, and I don't mean in a cynical "so bad it's good" sort of way. Violent, engaging, funny, and unapologetically brash, "Den of Thieves" is down and dirty stuff — a scuzzy, dirtbag action flick about angry men shooting loud guns. As seen in his weekly sparring sessions with the Chicago Tribune's Gene Siskel on their syndicated review show, Ebert could unleash withering invective at a film that wasted his time and/or insulted his intelligence. He was infamous for his hatred of the 1980s spate of slasher films, as well as his "How could they do this to Jennifer Jason Leigh" one-star pan of "Fast Times at Ridgemont High." Filmmakers were occasionally stung enough by his ire that they named characters after him who were snobby, mean-spirited, or downright monstrousness.

Ebert is, of course, hardly alone in this. Any critic whose job requires them to watch over 200 movies every year is going to need to blow off some steam from time to time.

Much like "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Fargo," and "M*A*S*H," it didn't take long for the "What We Do in the Shadows" TV series to justify its existence, step out of its movie counterpart's shadow, and turn into one of the best comedies on television. For six seasons, the show has followed the misadventures of a group of horny and buffoonish vampires who had long given up their mission to conquer the new world and simply lead static lives of hijinks, as well as the quest of their familiar Guillermo (Harvey Guillén) to become a vampire despite discovering he has Van Helsing blood in him. Season 5 even had Guillermo finally turning into a creature of the night, only to realize that it was not for him and transform back into a human.

The What We Do in the Shadows vamps took a very meta trip down memory lane in this week’s series finale, as the documentary — and maybe the roommates’ time together — came to a close.

As Monday’s finale opens, Laszlo’s monster has become very, um, amorous and is chasing Nadja around the house — “This monster needs a bride,” Laszlo decides — and Nandor tries to sell Guillermo on his idea of them becoming masked crimefighters. Celebrating its 30th anniversary next year, David Fincher’s newly-remastered Se7en is returning to theaters. Set open theatrically worldwide with exclusive IMAX engagements in the U.S. and Canada beginning on January 3, and international theatrical engagements on select dates, the theatrical run will be followed by a 4K Uhd and digital release on January 7, 2025.

When Jac Schaeffer signs onto Zoom roughly 18 hours after the two-episode finale of her series “Agatha All Along” debuted on Disney+, she looks at once relieved and slightly queasy.

“From when it dropped to about an hour ago, I’ve been feeling pretty shaky,” the showrunner says with a laugh. “We dropped a lot of content — a lot of moments.”

Schaeffer isn’t exaggerating. Where Did Ballerina Come From?

This film began life way back in 2017 as a stand-alone film. Shay Hatten wrote an action script with a female lead called Ballerina. The lead would be a ballerina assassin who goes on a revenge killing spree.
