Hong Kong movies are 95 percent garbage, and this movie has got to be at the bottom of the barrel. The plot is so shallow that a fish couldn't swim in it. Like the Young and Dangerous series, from which this movie was spun off, it glorifies the triads. It's a shame that otherwise talented actresses like Karen Mok and Marianne Chan chose to star in this stinker.

Unlike the Young and Dangerous series, this movie didn't inspire any sequel, and deservedly so.
