When the family runs out of the hotel following the first snow storm, a yellow rental truck is visible on the far right of the screen, at the corner of the hotel (possibly widescreen only).
Jack goes to the shed to get an insect-bomb. As he leaves, he places the canister under his arm. When seen from the outside, the canister has switched arms.
When Halloran draws the moustache on Ulman's picture it is different from when the picture is shown later on.
When we see the girl climb into the bathtub in room 217, the mat on the floor by the tub disappears after she cuts her wrists. The blood then drips directly on the floor.

When Jack photographs the wasps in Danny's room, the flash does not appear as it did while photographing Danny and Wendy's stung areas on their bodies a few moments ago. This type of camera did not have an "on/off" flash option. (Part I)
Near the end of the movie, Jack smashes a mirror with the mallet and starts walking towards the camera down the hall. After he takes a couple of steps with the camera pulling back. A table with flowers comes into view. The flowers are moving, likely disturbed from the camera crew as they were backtracking down the hall.
When Ullman shows Jack the Denver Croquet area, two children are standing still as they enter the frame waiting for their cue to run to their parents.
In several outdoor scenes, it is snowing and there are large amounts of snow on the ground and trees in the foreground, but no snow on the roof of the Overlook Hotel, or on the trees and mountains in the background.
When the hotel starts to "come alive", the swings start to swing around by themselves. You can see the strings attached to the swing set.
