Drug mules transporting drugs concealed in condoms in the stomach don't eat and rarely drink on flights to avoid going to the toilet and passing, contaminating or risking the drugs to breaking open inside them. This behaviour is obvious to Flight Attendants especially on long haul flights who regularly pass the information on to customs officers.
The establishing shot for "Taipei, Taiwan" actually shows (now closed) Kai Tak Airport in Hong Kong, clearly recognizable by the runway configuration and the numerous buildings surrounding the airport and the end of the runway.
