This is the true story of the March 4, 1989 disappearance of CPT Shirley Gibbs Russell from Quantico, Virginia. Her husband, Robert Peter Russell, was arrested, tried and convicted of her murder after the Government discovered a 26-step "recipe for murder" among his personal items. The Government's theory was that she was shot behind the ear by her husband with a .25 caliber handgun and then her body was disposed in an abandoned mine shaft in Pennsylvania. Her body has never been found.
