As summer must eventually come to an end, so must these titles’ time on Netflix.
With Halloween right around the corner, the streaming service will remove all eight seasons of “The Vampire Diaries,” as well as several thriller and horror films including “Nightcrawler,” “The Talented Mr. Ripley,” “Seven” and “Insidious” so be sure to watch these spooky season classics before the end of the month.
The streaming service will no longer be the home for cherished TV series, including “Quantico,” “Saved by the Bell,” “Gotham” and “Dark Matter.” Netflix will also scrap classic titles, like “Catch Me If You Can,” “Mean Girls,” “Taxi Driver,” “Dirty Harry” and “Dumb and Dumber.”

Welcome back to Bayside High, Saved by the Bell Fanatics.
The forthcoming Peacock revival unveiled a splashy new trailer Monday, and it looks set to bring back what fans loved about the original series:
The campy humor.
BH90210 attempted to pull off a similar trick last summer, but it largely failed because the cast were not playing the same characters.
Peacock's Saved by the Bell will feature a mix of old and new cast members, and a plot that will either bring them together, or tear them apart.
The new series focuses on what happens when California Governor, Zack Morris finds himself in trouble for closing too many low-income schools.
To mitigate the concerns, he proposes that the affected students be sent to the highest-performing schools in the state -- including Bayside High -- the school from the original series.
The cast includes Alycia Pascual-Pena as Aisha, Belmont Cameli as Jamie Spano,...

You probably recognize Gilbert Gottfried’s name (after all, he’s the most famous Gilbert who’s ever lived), and you definitely recognize his voice, but other than his career-defining performance as Iago in “Aladdin,” how much of his work can you remember off the top of your head?
Mileage will vary, of course, but even Gottfried devotees could agree that the guy’s persona has outsized his resumé. That’s not to knock his stand-up comedy or his appearances in the likes of “Beverly Hills Cop II” and “Saved By the Bell: Wedding in Las Vegas,” but rather to say that he’s become an ambient part of our culture, less of a celebrity than the human embodiment of a modern court jester. He’s not a man, but a squint and an aggressive whine; he’s the joke you shouldn’t tell in public, the furniture at a Friar’s Club roast.

There was a third Crocodile Dundee film? Really? Was Crocodile Dundee In Los Angeles any good?
Yes there was. Honestly, yes. No, not particularly.
I think we might have all been understating the cultural importance of the film Crocodile Dundee. It’s sort of mandatory that you do, I think, if you value your sanity. In 1986, when the film came out, it was a massive success at the box office. It grossed $174m in the Us, making it the second highest grossing film of the year, taking just $2m less than Top Gun. The films writers, including Paul Hogan, were nominated for an Oscar. As much as I think Crocodile Dundee is a fun film, that’s a lot to take in.
In the 1980s, the box office charts looked different to the charts of today. Where now multiplex listings are dominated by brands and superhero films with wince-inducing budgets,...
