Hart to Hart: Two Harts in 3/4 Time

My least favourite of the 'Hart to Hart' film series, up until this point at least.

I didn't sense the usual charm with Robert Wagner and Stefanie Powers as much in 'Hart to Hart: Two Harts in 3/4 Time', they are still the most noteworthy things about these films but I didn't find them as enjoyable here. Not helped by the plot, which is very bland; despite the presence of Joan Collins. The ending is particularly uninteresting.

The first from the series' first six offerings that I've found a chore to sit through, that's not to say the preceding productions are good - they aren't - but they at least kept me watching without any negatives.

Hart to Hart's tribute to our beloved Max, played by Lionel Stander who passed away in 1994. Two hart's In 3/4 time is set in Montreal, Canada and guest stars Joan Collins. The Hart's, after the reading of Max's will are led around Montreal opening letters and enjoying gifts/experiences that Max planned for them. Jennifer and Jonathan get to meet friends and family of Max's along the way...including Francis X Gaylord, "What's the x for?"..."Expensive". Max has an artist friend custom make the Hart's a beautiful Bavarian Cuckoo clock because "When you two met, time stood still." This was a bittersweet tribute to Max, who "liked giving so much that living with him was like Christmas 364 days a year" and who was famous for after having been told "Max, you know you're a great guy?" Always responding "No, but hum a few bars and I'll fake it."
