Penny Lynn's first role and first onscreen nudity. She said in an interview that nudity doesn't bother her at all because she thinks the human body is beautiful. In fact she was a bikini and nude model, which is how the director found her. After seeing one of her photo shoots, he invited her to audition. Lynn said she read a few lines during the meeting and then offered to do it fully nude. He said go for it, so she stripped off her clothes and read the lines again. He hired her on the spot.
Geoffrey de Valois shot the film in 1990, but a falling out with the producer led to the movie being shelved for a few years. Writer Dennis Devine, who had worked on the story, later cut out several segments of the film and added more nudity, l before releasing it on VHS a few years later.
Raymond Honeycutt, a well-meaning fan looking to finish the movie and get it on DVD, contacted director Geoffrey de Valois in 1997 and got his blessing to finish the film using footage de Valois sent him on Hi 8 video. He ended up shooting a new intro and outro and added new segments to de Valois' rough cut that included a new monster Honeycutt made out of paper-mache. He also cast Penny Lynn and Alison Chien to add more nudity. He also added the 3D effect to it. Production ended up taking three years.
Co-director Raymond Honeycutt premiered his version of the movie in Dallas during the summer of 2002.
Ray Honeycutt wanted to add more nudity to his version of the film, saying he wanted every element that he would have wanted to see in a movie when he was 15: a naked girl, a monster, and them having sex. He also said in an interview that "In my mind a naked woman can make the worst movie in the world palatable. Some people might not get what I was trying to do comedy-wise but everyone understands sex." For the women, he advertised in a couple of local trade magazines but didn't find the kind of actresses he was looking for. He ended up connecting with nude models Alison Chien and Penny Lynn on a message board called "The Texas Talent Board." Honeycutt said they were excited to make the movie and were willing to film anything. He only used Chien once in the opening sequence where she dances naked. But Lynn ended up having to film "some pretty embarrassing stuff" totally naked in front of an all-male crew for several scenes. She also appeared topless in the music video Honeycutt made for the DVD.
