The makers of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ (Tgiks) on Wednesday shared the new promo of the show, featuring the Kaushal brothers – Vicky and Sunny.

Producer Yash Raj Films has revealed the keenly anticipated first look for Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s “Pathaan.”

Mumbai, March 22 (Ians) Eminent writer-filmmaker Sagar Sarhadi, who breathed life into emotional roller coasters of Bollywood in the late 70s and the 80s, is no more. He breathed his last at his residence in the the city following age-related ailments. He was 88.

Poet, lyricist, scriptwriter Javed Akhtar tweeted: "Sagar Sarhadi a veteran theater and film writer who wrote films like Kabhi Kabhi, Noori and directed Baazaar has passed away. My heart felt condolences to the late bachelor's nephew Ramesh Talwar."

Sarhadi passed away late Sunday night after several days in ICU, media reports said.

"Saddened to hear about the demise of Veteran Writer and Director Sagar Sarhadi. My thoughts and prayers with the family. Heartfelt Condolences," tweeted Supriya Sule, Ncp MP.

Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff confirmed the death sharing a monochrome picture on social media, which he captioned: "Will Miss You...... R.I.P."

Suneel Darshan’s Ek Haseena Thi Ek Deewana Tha is an exhilarating journey of romance, passion, intrigue and thrill that is set to release in cinemas on 30th June 2017. With music by Nadeem (of Nadeem-Shravan fame), Ek Haseena Thi Ek Deewana Tha features Shiv Darshan, Upen Patel and introduces actress Natasha Fernandez.

As the director gears up his forthcoming romantic mystery, Ek Haseena Thi Ek Deewana Tha, there is buzz that this film is a sequel to the 2000 hit Dhadkan.

Suneel Darshan, however, clarifies, “Ehtedt has got nothing to do with Dhadkan. It is an absolutely fresh subject. Also, the music is more contemporary; something that one would want to hear from Nadeem in the present time. The movie does have a love triangle, but it has more layers to it and comes somewhere from the world of classic English movies. So there are absolutely no comparisons.”

Early morning today, musician Shravan (of Nadeem-Shravan fame) met with a road accident on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway. He has been hospitalized.

Call him Dr. Shah Rukh Khan. The actor received an honorary doctorate, bestowing him with the degree of Doctor Honoris Causa, from Edinburgh University yesterday. The actor was given the honor for his work and global reach as an actor and his outstanding record of philanthropy, altruism and humanitarianism.

The actor said, “It is a pleasure to be honoured by the University of Edinburgh and tread in the footsteps of so many of the world’s illustrious thinkers, leaders and personalities. To have the opportunity to address one of the most esteemed educational institutions in the world is a special moment.”

Upon receiving the doctorate, Dr. Shah Rukh Khan gave a heartfelt public lecture on life, love and films.

He began, “So here’s my first life lesson, inspired by the movie title Deewana: Madness (of the particularly nice/romantic kind) is an absolute prerequisite to a happy and successful life.

Saturday’s episode of ‘The Voice India’ began with the public voting results of team Mika and team Shaan. Host Karan reminded viewers that the winner would receive a record deal with Universal Music and prize money. The special guest for this episode was legendary playback singer Usha Utthap. Ushaji has sung many famous Bollywood numbers from ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ to the more recent ‘Darling’ from Saath Khoon Maaf.

It was then time for host Karan to announce team Mika’s public voting results. Tanvair was safe and Passang was eliminated. Saturday’s show opened with hosts Ranvir and Manish reminding the audience that there are just 7 days left for the grand finale of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa!
