K. Oda's second movie "Green City" feels alot more mature and toned down than his first movie; "Sometime, Somewhere". Of course, as an English speaker, I understood absolutely nothing about both movies because there aren't any English subtitles available. So, when you can't understand what they're saying, how do you watch it? That's a simple question to answer, as I payed attention to the visuals; which are much better than the first. The cinematography is vastly improved with better lighting, colors, and overall framing. The music is also toned down and used more tastefully in this movie. It really makes me sad that Kazumasa Oda stopped making movies after this one, because he clearly had visions when making his movies.
