Tom Hanks and Tim Allen in Toy Story 2 (1999)

Crazy credits

Toy Story 2

Edit

Heimlich and Flik from A Bug's Life make a cameo appearance in one of the outtakes of the film.

The names of 29 children born to crew members during the 3-year production are listed.

In the original 1999 theatrical version, the end credits played over a black background, while the songs "Woody's Roundup" and "You've Got a Friend In Me" played out in full. This version was used for the original 2000 DVD release, and the 2005 DVD release. Approximately one month after the original theatrical release, the original version of the end credits were replaced with the "outtakes" version. This version of the end credits was used for the 2010 DVD release, and the Blu-ray release. A reformatted version, with the outtakes at the top of the screen instead of on the side, had been used for the original 2000 VHS and DVD release. The outtakes itself had also been included as a special feature on the 2000 DVD release, the 2005 DVD release, and the Blu-ray release. For the later TV airings, due to the split-screen credits, they show the outtakes and credits separately. The 2019 UHD release uses the "outtakes" version of the credits, but the clip of Prospector chatting with the Barbies in his box has been removed. It was also cut from the versions available digitally.

Tour Guide Barbie does a little bit during the credits that is quite entertaining, such as suggesting to the audience that they throw away their trash, and asking for a break because she is tired from smiling so much.

There are no opening credits after the title is shown.

VHS: After the film's over, there's a preview for Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins on Videocassette and a music video for Woody's Roundup featuring Riders In the Sky.

Illustrations are seen during the credits. In post-2005 releases, the only illustrations that are seen are the plane (before the cast list), the guitar, (before the songs) and the fence (thanks to everyone at Pixar who supported this production).
