This Post Contains spoilers for this week’s episode of Fox’s The Masked Singer.
On The Masked Singer Season 10’s disco-night episode, it seemed fitting to begin with the Saturday Night Fever hit “Disco Inferno” by The Trammps. During the Group A finals Wednesday night, S’More, Cow, and Gazelle took audiences to funkytown with upbeat tunes, glittering pantsuits, and disco-decorated dancers. In the end, S’More lost his groove and was revealed as O-Town’s Ashley Parker Angel, which panelist Jenny McCarthy guessed correctly.

We’ve got a bonus show from Aew this week, the eighth instalment of the quarterly Battle of the Belts, which followed directly from this week’s episode of Collision once again. Let’s get into it…
Match #1: Aew International Championship Match – Orange Cassidy def. John Silver The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
As Orange Cassidy was making his entrance, Moxley was leaving the ring. They bumped into each other on the ramp and then had to be pulled apart. Moxley had to be held back. John Silver cracked Cassidy with kicks on the ring apron. Orange climbed to the top turnbuckle. Silver grabbed him and planed him face first across the ring apron! Back in the ring, Orange tried for a backslide, but Silver escaped. Orange came back with the Stun Dog Millionaire and then the Beach Break for a near fall. Alex Reynolds grabbed the title...

Fans of the recent TV adaptation of Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman's Good Omens need to see Sean Phillips' art for the 2014 BBC Radio 4 adaptation of the beloved novel. The art shows the radio play's cast in their roles, painting a totally different picture of these beloved characters than fans know from the Amazon adaptation, where David Tennant & Michael Sheen play Crowley and Aziraphale. With a new graphic novel adaptation on the way, Phillips' art sets a high bar.
Shared on The Art of Sean Phillips blog, the art shows various actors in the guises of their characters. In the most surprising difference for fans of the Amazon show, Peter Serafinowicz - who has starred as everything from John Wick's Sommelier to a member of the McU's Nova Corps to the voice of Star Wars' Darth Maul - is the demonic Crowley, and Mark Heap is his angelic ally Aziraphale.

You’d be forgiven for buying into the genial peace the pervades the first half of this exclusive trailer for “Hard Labor” filmmakers Juliana Rojas and Marco Dutra’s latest feature. After all, the opening minute or so of this first look at their “Good Manners” plays up the bond between Clara (Isabél Zuaa), a lonely nurse from the outskirts of São Paulo, who is hired by the mysterious and wealthy Ana (Marjorie Estiano) as the nanny of her unborn child.
And then things change. In a very, very big way. The film follows the pair as they prepare for the imminent birth of Ana’s child, a terrifying enough period made all the worse by the sense that not all is right with the baby, or with Ana.

Director John Badman looks back at his disco classic four decades later...
Saturday Night Fever is the film that made John Travolta into a legitimate star, launched the Bee Gees to the pinnacle of pop success and introduced the world to the subculture, music and fashion of disco dancing - specifically the scene in the clubs of the insular blue collar Brooklyn neighbourhood of Bay Ridge. The movie made the scene and music into a national phenomenon that lasted several years, until the disco craze petered out in the early '80s.

“You make it with some of these chicks, they think you gotta dance with them.”
In 1977, Saturday Night Fever became a cultural touchestone like few movies before or since, and this May fans can catch the fever again when the influential classic returns to the big screen for two days only in celebration of its 40th anniversary.
Director John Badham worked with Paramount Pictures to restore the film using the original negative and update the surround sound mix to further enhance viewers’ enjoyment of the incredible soundtrack. During this process he added scenes to the theatrical R-rated version that round out character and plot, making this new Director’s Cut the definitive representation of his original vision.
Fathom Events and Paramount Pictures will present the brand-new Director’s Cut of Saturday Night Fever in cinemas nationwide on Sunday, May 7 and Wednesday, May 10, at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

All week long our writers will debate: Which was the greatest film year of the past half century. Click here for a complete list of our essays. How to decide in the grand scheme of things which film year stands above all others? History gives us no clear methodology to unravel this thorny but extremely important question. Is it the year with the highest average score of movies? So a year that averages out to a B + might be the winner over a field strewn with B’s, despite a few A +’s. Or do a few masterpieces lift up a year so far that whatever else happened beyond those three or four films is of no consequence? Both measures are worthy, and the winner by either of those would certainly be a year not to be sneezed at. But I contend the only true measure of a year’s...

If there's ever a type of TV show to make an executive rub his pudgy hands together in evil laughing glee, then it's the dating programme. Attempting to successfully matchmake on TV is like trying to teach a hamster to juggle. That's where the 'fun' lies, I guess – seeing mismatched couples navigate their way through glacial silences, ill-advised attempts at flirting and the usual nonsense about how the other half isn't attractive/tall/loud enough (delete as applicable). From the staged replies and convenient post-date antagonism of Blind Date through to the three course culinary disasters of Dinner Date through to the cackling fake tan and hair extension mob of Take Me Out, dating shows just will not take no for an answer.

So Channel 5's director of programmes Ben Frow wants to bring 'classic' karaoke show Night Fever back to television, and you lot actually seem pretty keen on the notion...
"Fantastic idea," said Scott Peacock, "Awesome," agreed Mark Whiley, "Night Fever is still my favourite homegrown Channel 5 show!!" enthused Neil Martin.
But which other gems from Channel 5's back catalogue should be revived? What have been the broadcaster's best programming efforts since it launched in 1997? Here's 5 shows that 5 could bring back to our screens...

Channel 5's Ben Frow has reportedly spoken of his desire to revive classic shows on the channel.
Director of programmes Frow cited the channel's karaoke series Night Fever - which originally ran from 1997 to 2002 - as a format he would like to revamp.
"[There's] no point trying to do yet another talent show but karaoke... perhaps it's time to bring it back," ThisIsVERiFiED.com quotes him as saying.
Night Fever was originally hosted by Madness frontman Suggs, and later co-hosted by Will Mellor and Sarah Cawood.
Frow also admitted that he would be keen to bring back short-lived BBC One soap Eldorado, which ended after just one year.
"It would play nicely with our two current 'sunny' soaps, Neighbours and Home & Away," he claimed.
Frow recently vowed to avoid "downmarket" programming on Channel 5 in future, insisting that he would never have commissioned Channel 4's recent Bodyshock documentary The Man with the 10-Stone Testicles.

In the 1980s he was watched on TV by over 20 million viewers on a regular basis, he was one of the best children's TV hosts of the '90s and he was doing the whole cool Vampire movie shtick a decade before anyone had even heard of the words Twilight or R-Pattz! Who are we talking about here? Well, it's the one and only Jonathan Morris. Star of Bread, a regular on Channel 5's Night Fever and host of Cbbc series The Movie Game. Morris's wikipedia CV may make for rather grim reading; his last significant TV appearance came on the 2005 series (more)...
