Featured review
A dystopian future is described in "Future Lust", an unfunny sci-fi porn comedy, sticking with the usual cliches of the genre.
Not much of a story, just assorted rebels fighting against a totalitarian regime some 300 years in the future (dated from 1989). Sex has been outlawed for so many generations that the rebels have to learn how to do it, from scratch. (No explanation for how reproduction continues without sex is offered, and no hint of scientific achievements like IVF.)
Ray Victory and Nina Hartley preserved ancient texts, including one by Dr. Ruth, and use them to follow in having sex, but they are captured by the Sex Police near the beginning of the movie and written out of the script. Tom Byron (sporting a nazzy earring, no doubt from his personal collection) and Jerry Butler are rebels who reanimate cryogenically frozen actress (asleep for 300 years) Debi Diamond, and after making fun of their ignorance with cheap jokes, she teaches them to have sex and (no surprise) they are very quick learners in a threesome.
A Black actress Sade has plenty of sex and the movie ends with Debi having a lesbian 3-way with Staci Nichols. However, the germ of a story and conflict have been discarded, replaced by sex filler.
The only futuristic prop is actually retro: the men wear bowler hats in an homage to Kubrick's "A Clockwork Orange".
