The first Finnish full-length feature film.
The only Finnish feature film made before country's independence in 1917, that is not completely destroyed: 13 minutes of the film still exists.
One of the first three films that were planned to be the first full-length Finnish features, made by same filmmakers one after another in the summer of 1911. Others were "Hyökyaaltoja" and "Anna-Liisa". Of these three, only "Sylvi" was released.
