The scenes around Troy's house take place in summer. The rest of the movie, before and after that, appears to take place in the fall.
The distances between the pursuers of Zap and him constantly change. Sometimes they are a few yards away, then in the next shot they are many tens of yards away. When Zap meets Satoris at the shrine, the pursuers have disappeared entirely.
When Rowsdower calls the police to report Troy at the gas station, Rowsdower is panicking in some shots and standing calmly in others.
When Rowsdower first wakes up at Pipper's house, his trousers are filthy. At the end of the movie, just a short time later, they're spotless.
In the end credits, Bruce J. Mitchell is credited as "Troy McGreggor" and Christian Malcolm is credited as "Zap Rowsdower". Mitchell played Rosdowner, and Malcolm played McGreggor.
An obvious dummy is used when Satoris is set on fire.
When the cultists use a chainsaw on the door, there is already a slit in the door for the blade to go through.
There is an obvious stunt double during the fight between Rowsdower and Satoris. From behind, Rowsdower's hair is curlier, shorter, and a different color.
In the ending credits, Bruce J. Mitchell is incorrectly credited as 'Troy' and Christian Malcolm is incorrectly credited as 'Rowsdower'. Christian Malcolm played the part of 'Troy' and Bruce J. Mitchell played the part of 'Rowsdower'.
After the cultists hit Rowsdower with the pickup truck in the field, they make a turn to pursue. They're driving on grass, but the tires squeal.
When Troy discovers Rowsdower's cult brand, Rowsdower says that Satoris threw him out of the cult because he was a "half-blood". However, Satoris later states that Rowsdower left of his own volition.
The cultists tell Zap they saw Troy go into the cave with him but obviously didn't see Troy exit, but they ask Zap where he is instead of searching the cave.
Satoris invades Troy's home and demands he hand over the map, which Troy has only just discovered. Satoris has no way of knowing Troy has found the map or that he even knows it exists.
Right after Troy jumps into the back of the pickup truck to escape the masked men, the truck driver (who shouldn't know he's involved in a chase) runs a STOP sign.
