Captain Altona has returned from a POW camp and is wearing an officer's uniform stripped of insignia. As he steps in an elevator at his war buddy Bergas' office, captain's insignia suddenly appears on his uniform.
Viktor throws a small statue of a bathing girl to the floor smashing it to small pieces. Later in the movie the statue is on the floor almost whole with just the bottom broken.
It is the last big WWII battle between Finland and Soviet Union, probably at Kannas in June 1944. Finnish officers are driving a Willys CJ-2, but it is not very likely a Jeep produced from 1944 onward would have made it to the Kannas front.
