Two contemporary music giants - multi-platinum recording artist and 16-time Grammy nominee, Brian McKnight and the fiercely gifted, three-time Grammy nominee Angie Stone have signed on to play lead roles in the national tour of the award-winning musical, Hinton Battle's Love Lies. The play debuted last summer at the Midtown International Theatre Festival, garnering nine Mitf nominations and picking up several awards.

Hinton Battle is known to theatre audiences as an extraordinarily gifted performer and recipient of three Tony Awards. Battle now adds playwright, to his growing list of accomplishments. Hinton Battle's Love Lies Treat Her Like a Lady, the musical he conceived and debuted this summer at the Midtown International Theatre Festival Mitf in New York, is scheduled to begin a national tour of key cities at the start of 2013.

International movie Love Lies And Seeta, made under Movie Depot Banner is going to release in India on May 18th. The censor recently cleared the movie with ‘A’ certificate. The producers would have loved to get a U/A certificate, but they are not fighting the decision of the censor board. “Our main aim to release the movie in India and not to create any stir because of any issue. New Delhi, May 8: "Love Lies and Seeta", the story of three men in love with a girl named Seeta, grabbed the attention of the New York crowd as the director Chandra Pemmaraju was shooting a scene at the Grand Central.

The shooting drew people who gathered to cheer the actors, said a source from the unit.

"It was more than a busy day at Grand Central because of the football match and America is a huge football fan, so even if the best of Hollywood was to come there and shoot, they would have had to battle tough for attention from the crowd if they wanted some,".

The movie has the Hollywood making, desi backing and an interesting story – Love Lies And Seeta will release in India on May 18th, 2012. New Delhi, April 6: "Love Lies and Seeta", a low budget, urban romantic comedy, is set to hit theatres May 4.

Made at a shoestring budget of Rs.15 million, the movie narrates the story of three men in love with a girl named Seeta, who doesn't believe in love. It is directed by New York-based Indian origin filmmaker Chandra Pemmaraju.

"The idea was simple - to make the first-of-its-kind, fun, young urban romantic comedy in an extremely low budget yet with international standards," Pemmaraju said in a statement.
